Rent a petrol or diesel car for your holidays. That’s not the EV I booked … Who knew? In many places, electric cars are cheaper to rent than equivalent petrol cars. I pre-booked months in advance. And as Europcar says on its website: Save on Petrol! All of this wastes time. Charging is Easy!

It ispleasingly quick but will still only manage 150 miles between charges, muchless than a tank of petrol, even if it costs only £1.50 Witha 60-mile range, most felt the need to recharge after 30 miles or so. to charge overnight. The electric Mini is unlikely to go into production in its present form.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. We should have built more Nuclear power plants and created a nuclear waste recycling program. The car is expected to cost around $40,000.
