The BMW Group has pooled its years of experience with battery cells and extensive knowledge in the field in a new Competence Center in Munich. —Oliver Zipse, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG. The BMW Group is investing a total of €200 million in the Competence Center and employees 200 people there.

The BMW Group reported that it has delivered more than 50,000 BMW i, BMW iPerformance and electrified MINI vehicles to customers around the world since the start of the year. BMW M GmbH used the M Night Event in the lead-up to the Nürburgring 24-hour race to unveil the BMW M3 CRT (Carbon Racing Technology). This is in part due to the collapse of the Italian and French markets, on which small cars are heavily reliant for sales—in 2019, 38% of A and B segment registrations in Europe occurred in Italy and France. Sales in the US totalled 1 million units, down by 38% from March 2019—a smaller decrease than both China and Europe.

I wish the thing was for sale as-is. I really would love to get a 120D coupe BMW u cant beat 0-60 of 7.5 Well they did give brief bursts of acceleration through the parking lot to show that it does have some Roadster goodness to it. But yes, there was no slalom to see how it handles the twisties. and 49 mpg.
