Researchers combine plasma-assisted nitrogen oxidation and lean NOx trap technology for ammonia production

Green Car Congress

A team from KU Leuven and the University of Antwerp in Belgium has developed a new process that is suitable for the distributed, small-scale production of “green” ammonia. The use of “green”, “blue” or “turquoise” hydrogen in the Haber-Bosch process is an option. Temperatures: Red = 1100 °C, Orange = 175 °C and Blue = 40 °C.

Symbio uses Borit metal bipolar plates in its commercial fuel cell range extender

Green Car Congress

Belgium-based Borit is the supplier-of-choice for metal bipolar plates in the successful range extender fuel cell systems of the French market leader Symbio. Sheet hydroforming uses one die and a sheet of metal; the blank sheet is driven into the die by high pressure water on one side of the sheet. Earlier post.)
