Any steep inclines will slow it down and drain the battery faster. A basic LED screen displays battery life and speed. Fast charge time: Recharging the Gotrax GXL V2’s battery takes no longer than 3-4 hours, depending on how depleted it is. The GXL V2 weighs roughly 26 lbs. 12kg) and is foldable. What’s not so good?

miles (65 km) of range on a single charge, I found I rarely had to plug in my scooter between trips, and even then, it wouldn’t take more than an hour to top up the battery. Not waterproof: The e-scooter does have a water-resistance rating of IPX5, but that’s not enough to ride in the rain or to get wet. Battery: 551Wh.

In the Aluminum the most challenging part is going to be the battery cover, which is going to have fins. Oben is assembling their own battery packs - and it was heartening to know that they are taking the LFP route, albeit with cylindrical cells. Another idea that we discussed was using this for charging swappable batteries.

The benefit of a higher voltage connector has nothing to do with the speed at which the battery will charge it has to do with the conductor size. A 220 volt socket like on your water heater or dryer would be better, ad these typically have 40 or 50 amp circuits, so they can deliver 8,000 to 10,000 watts - is this what they mean?

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles.
