Microcars, often referred to as quadricycles in Europe and Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs) or Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs) in the US, are a niche category designed largely for urban travel.

The e-Zone Electric Vehicle (EV) is a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) that passes international crash test standards and will be one of the vehicle types CT&T will produce for the US market. kW motor and offers either a 72V, 165Ah lead-acid battery (base option) or a 72V, 140Ah Li-polymer battery.

Last week Tesla revealed that its new Model S Plaid EV could reach a speed of near 200 MPH and reach 0 to 60 MPH in 1.99 While this performance feat is certainly impressive, it detracts from the primary goal of electric vehicles which is to help reduce carbon emissions from the transportation sector as quickly as possible.
