Unlike battery-powered electric vehicles, FCEVs can go over 500 kilometers on a full tank of hydrogen and can be refueled in 2-3 minutes, exactly like regular petrol/diesel cars. Unlike Lithium, hydrogen is the most plentiful element in the universe ( Lithium is the key component in electric vehicle batteries).

With two Electric cars, at the time a Nissan Lean and Mitsubishi Outlander, we use a considerable amount of electricity but not much petrol, so already we were a reasonable way down the less CO2 road. Having an EV you learn about the basics of electric power, charge rates and kilowatt-hours or KWh. . Tons of CO2. . Octopus Go.

The energy stored within hydrogen has been imparted from electrical energy through the electrolytic hydrogen production process or more likely in the refinement of fossil fuels such as coal seam (methane) gas – both are energy intensive processes in themselves. . So why haven’t FCEV becoming as prolific as other electric cars?

Ill never purchase one again, no matter what the mpgs. If our country is going to spend money like a drunk sailor we should have spent it on building renewable energy power plants like Wind and Geothermal. Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal.
