The Indian SUV and ute manufacturer Mahindra has revealed a tough electric concept that looks like a readymade rival for the Jeep Wrangler and GWM Tank. These EVs designed at Mahindra’s UK tech centre are the XUV:e8 and XUV:e9 SUVs and the BE:05, BE.07 Volkswagen is still expected to eventually become a battery supplier to Mahindra.

VinFast invited Canadian and American automotive journalists to California to drive the 2023 VF 8, an all-electric midsize two-row SUV. The company has ambitious plans to import the three-row VF 9 by the end of 2023 and the two-row VF 7 in the first part of 2024, both of which are electric SUVs built in Hai Phong, Vietnam.
