We have our controller, chassis, motor, and the batteries are pending. Opening large energy company's eyes to the possibility of a "Green Future" is what we have achieved in our small town of Elk River, Minnesota. We are currently half way through the process of having a completed car.

PHEVs with "Good Enough to Get Started" batteries. The nonprofit CalCars does conversions to demonstrate new designs and provide a platform for different batteries; we dont sell conversions. We will have similar solutions available for better (but more expensive) nickel-metal hydride or lithium-ion batteries.)

At the time, the White House claimed this would result in Americans having limited choices, being forced into more-expensive automobiles, and ultimately advantage China as the world’s largest battery producer. That’s not to suggest battery and hybrid-powered vehicles don’t have benefits.
