For its next-gen models, BMW is turning to Croatian electric hypercar specialist Rimac for EV batteries. Rimac’s tech division will supply batteries for BMW’s future electric cars. Rimac to supply BMW with EV batteries The collaboration is Rimac Tech’s “largest and most ambitious project” the company has undertaken.

Technologies such as plate honing are used during assembly of the V8 at the Audi plant in Györ, Hungary. Acceleration sensors on the two engine mounts supply the data that determine the amplitude necessary to cancel out the vibration. They range from the start-stop system to a wide variety of measures aimed at reducing friction.
