Researchers at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, have developed a method that can reduce the levels of mercury in sulfuric acid by more than 90%, even from low levels. The limit values for how much mercury sulfuric acid may contain are based on the technology available today.

We are also participating in projects where our renewable methanol is already used to extend the range of battery electric cars and ferries. Currently, China produces most of its methanol from coal.
