New data shows that motor vehicles generate more than €440 billion in taxation per year for national governments in the major EU markets plus the UK, the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) reports. This just goes to show the sheer scale of the importance of the automobile industry to Europe.

Fuel cells, like stem cells in medical science, are a new technology in the automobile industry. According to the IEA, this way of creating green hydrogen would avoid the 830 million tonnes of CO2 released annually when the hydrogen is produced using fossil fuels. Hydrogen has a long history of working with industry.

In June 2013, Audi commissioned a power-to-gas facility in the north German town of Werlte, thus becoming the first automobile manufacturer to develop a chain of sustainable energy sources. Customers can order a supply of Audi e-gas when purchasing their g-tron. The CO2-free sorbent can be re-used for many adsorption/desorption cycles.

National pilots Using CNG, like TNT Germany, has many benefits on local air quality but is only a temporary solution, because it doesnt solve the problem of CO2 emissions. Ill never purchase one again, no matter what the mpgs. The federal government cant hand out money to a company thats telling them that itll lose money on a $40, 000 automobile that more than half the populace couldnt afford if the economy was in good shape! needs to have an indigenous automobile industry, and not merely "transplants".
