The driver of the ill-fated vehicle, Hans von Ohain, who was a Tesla employee, passed away with a blood alcohol level of 0.26, over three times the legal limit. Rossiter, who also had alcohol in his system at the time of the tragic crash, had told emergency responders that the driver had been using an “auto drive feature on the Tesla.”
