Nissan Includes PHEVs in its long-term development program. Focusing on all-electric, Nissan-Renault partnership with Better Place for EVs. August 9, 2007 (Multiple reports on speech and press conference by GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz) Lutz said his goal is for GM to develop a plug in hybrid on sale by 2010. No announced plans.

Its published results showed the average Chevrolet Volt PHEV drove 9100 miles a year on electricity compared with the average Nissan Leaf all-electric car driving 9500 miles a year on electricity alone.
