To ignore this potential is wasteful and foolish. It is wasteful and destructive to be burning this versatile molecule; we must stop.

Dont PHEVs just shift pollution from gasoline cars to power plants? But its monumentally less pollution , even on the national (half-coal) grid. Toyotas Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries are considered "non-hazardous waste" [See "high voltage electrical systems" ]. Are the batteries recyclable?
