Honda of America plans to sell 2 fully electric SUVs in 2024, Based on GM’s Ultium Platform – Honda confirmed plans to sell two all-electric SUVs in the US for the 2024 model year, and it soon will offer hybrid gas-electric versions of its top-selling models. Honda will offer more details later this year, he said.

The objections they raised for years -- "no one is interested, no one would plug in, the technology is too complex, the benefits are minimal, its just shifting the pollution from the tailpipe to the smokestack, theres no demand for these cars" -- still show up occasionally, but are by and large history.

Blending the MPG of SUVs and small cars understates the real consumption and rewards automakers for building gas hogs and unsafe micro cars which makes people want to buy "safe" gas hogs. Generating electricity from wind and geothermal rather than a CO2 producing sources would help alleviate that problem. it is over, the media!,
