Sport mode may well be more savage, and we would guess it probably is, but the Normal drive mode was superbly manageable during normal driving.

The arrival of the Cupra Born in Australia is pretty significant. The four-year old Spanish spin-off from SEAT has also beaten the Volkswagen brand to market in Australia with its first BEV ( with more to come ), although VW will soon be fighting back with a concerted rollout of its own electric vehicles starting with the ID.4

Seattle says it intends to help develop the charging network; consider incentives for buying and using the cars, and creating charging stations; consider regulatory changes to support the cars, such as streamlined permitting for installing charging outlets; and consider leasing or buying the cars for its fleet. It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. South Korea did that and Australia is going to be doing that. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. The car is expected to cost around $40,000.
