Joule and Audi formed a partnership in 2011 to accelerate the development and commercialization of CO 2 -neutral fuels. Audi is also supporting Joule’s hydrocarbon product, which was previously tested and shown to meet ASTM specifications in diesel blends of up to 50%. This product will follow ethanol to market.

So much more convenient than having to take time out of my day and go out of my way (wasting more energy) to get a charge elsewhere or do battery swaps. No single vehicle does it all even in todays petrol world. Companies like ECOtality are already working with Nissan, which seems to have given up on battery swapping.
