Alfa Romeo Tonale – the Italian brand finally has a rechargeable car in its ranks in the form of the Tonale PHEV compact SUV. Aston Martin DBX PHEV and EV – electrified versions of AM’s first SUV on the cards. No surprises there are promises of big performance for a PHEV due late in 2022 or early 2023.

Assuming you’ve charged the 12kWh battery, your 2021 X3 PHEV will start in Max eDrive (all-electric mode) and will stay there for an EPA-rated 18 miles of electric range.

GM is producing 2 vehicles a day with the goal of having a total of 76 vehicles available by the end of the summer; these vehicles will be used for validation testing ranging from fit and finish reviews, to durability testing to eventual crash testing. Direct injection will be available on 13 models in 2010.
