Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) has aded two BYD battery-electric buses. Atlanta is one of three airports to purchase BYD buses and has reduced its emissions by 70 metric tons since the launch of its two buses. The K9M has a range of up to 150 miles and charges in two to three hours.

As noted by Uber in a recent press release , drivers in 30+ cities such as Los Angeles, Houston, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami are able to rent a Tesla through its partnership with Hertz. If I’m putting thousands of miles into the world, I figured a green car would be a better move because it’s helping the environment.

In larger metropolitan areas such as Los Angeles, Atlanta, or Seattle, where EVs are in high demand, prices are higher but have more inventory available than in suburban or rural areas. These vehicles won’t have the 250+ mile range of brand new EVs on the market, but they are affordable, reliable, and have inexpensive running costs.

It saves the farmers from buying diesel fuel and breathing diesel fumes. First or second car… New or used… Time to buy electric. We’d set up at intersections with the heaviest traffic, but where cars weren’t traveling at more than 30 miles per hour. But there’s a good chance this bill will eventually be passed.

DeKalb County’s DeKalb County/Metropolitan Atlanta Alternative Fuel and Advanced Technology Vehicle Project. The project will convert local landfill gas (LFG), a renewable fuel source, to compressed natural gas and develop five CNG fueling stations throughout the metro-Atlanta area. Total DOE award: $14,994,183.
