T he Plug in 2008 National PHEV Conference in San Jose by most accounts was a big success. Here's one of the announcements that came out of the conference : EPRI, GM, 34 Utilities Collaborate to Advance Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles PALO ALTO, Calif. And here is a Plug in Partners Update: Partners Update Partners There are currently 629 entities signed on as Partners. The bill, HR 5351 includes a credit for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.

Aptera – US-based company claims to have created the world’s most efficient vehicle with the three-seat F1-inspired Aptera. Expect to see it Down Under in 2023. Audi RS e-Tron GT.

Ford Europe EV Plans – Ford committed that by mid-2026, 100 percent of Ford’s passenger vehicle range in Europe will be zero-emissions capable, all-electric or plug-in hybrid, and will be completely all-electric by 2030. At the same time, the value to the economy and environment of a major push for plug-in cars as part of the recovery hasn’t sunk in at the top. nk, Fisker and Aptera, for example, would get cars on the road and allow the plug-in project the chance to more quickly advance to economic viability without the legacy burdens carried by the majors.
