Coulomb Technologies unveiled San Francisco's first ChargePoint America charge stations yesterday in a Priority Parking lot along the Embarcadero. The charge stations and installations were paid for with federal stimulus and California Energy Commission grants won by Coulomb. Nissan LEAF buyers are excluded.

The first car will be the Wheego Whip, which is most certainly not a smart for two, and the plan is to find 50 dealers in America who want to sell them. In fact, almost none at all.
