LA show displays green car ‘glimpse into the future’

New GM expected within 90 days

GM also wants to improve the fuel efficiency of its vehicle fleet and will launch the Chevrolet Volt extended range vehicle in 2010. It hopes to have around 14 hybrid models in production by 2012 and will have 65 per cent of its vehicles as alternative-fuel capable by 2014.
