Southern California Edison (SCE) released a white paper summarizing learnings from its Electric Vehicle (EV) readiness program. Because California leads the nation in EV adoption, other utilities and stakeholders in the auto industry may find the information from the white paper useful, SCE suggested.

In a white paper released at a National Press Club briefing, Secretary Mineta detailed his support for such policies—i.e., Our policy leaders continue to pursue prescriptive technology policies in the hopes of solving all of our energy and emissions problems. Current fuel economy policy clearly demonstrates this fact.

General Motors has released a white paper that evaluates the CO 2 reduction potential of extended-range electric vehicles (E-REVs) as well as plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), in combination with multiple vehicle charging scenarios, as compared to conventional hybrids.
