BMW Group UK has reported 28,723 registrations of all-electric BMW vehicles in 2023, a 34 per cent increase on 2022. Now, one in every four BMW vehicles registered in 2023 was fully electric. In the corporate sector, half of all registrations are all-electric vehicles (BEVs).

ComEd’s new fleet electrification plan calls for replacing all of its light duty vehicles with electrified vehicles (EVs and PHEVs) by 2030. By 2025, all of the company’s light duty vehicles (LDVs) approaching the end of their life cycle will be replaced with electric vehicles, and all LDVs will be electrified by 2030.

The iconic Lamborghini brand is getting a new look as the automaker prepares for an electric future. Lamborghini launched its new logo and corporate identity as part of its transformation. The new logo will be used on all future cars. Lambo is working on its first fully electric “Super SUV,” which is expected to launch in 2029.

Dodge has announced today that it will discontinue the Challenger and Charger models in 2023 as it plans to transition to electric vehicles. The company is ranked last in corporate average fuel economy and emissions. On the other hand, multiple Stellantis brands have shown an affinity for electric vehicle sales success in Europe.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) will stage the global premiere of the new 2019 model year Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV at the upcoming Geneva show. The new PHEV will be introduced to the European market towards the end of the year. MMC launched the Outlander PHEV plug-in hybrid electric Twin Motor SUV in 2013.

Ford has done it's share of electric cars, including the Ranger EV and Th!nk Plans for a 2012 general release of the PHEV Escape did not wow anyone. The surprise appearance at the Detroit Auto Show last month of an electric Focus may be evidence of a new day (again) at Ford. All eyes are fixed on 2011.
