At WCX18: SAE World Congress Experience earlier this month, ArcelorMittal and Honda unveiled the world’s first outer and inner door ring system to better balance strength and performance while removing additional weight from the vehicle. The partners co-engineered the system for the 2019 Acura RDX.

In November 2019, the luxury share of the US market was 16.1%. Honda and Kia showed the most price strength in the non-luxury market, transacting between 6% to 8% over sticker price in November. In November 2019, before the pandemic and when inventory was plentiful, the average incentive package was 10.6% in October.

Honda and Kia showed the most price strength in the non-luxury market, transacting between 5% and 6% over sticker price in December. Luxury cars at all levels were selling below MSRP in December, along with luxury compact and sub-compact SUVs. In December, Ford sold more than 75,000 F-Series trucks, its best month in 2022.
