Hyundai Motor America will provide 250 kilowatt-hours of complimentary charging on Electrify America’s ultra-fast charging network for owners of 2021 Kona Electric and Ioniq Electric models. Electrify America pricing for DC fast charging varies by location. In California, the rate is $0.43/kWh kWh for guest and Pass members.

Electrify America has opened more than 500 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the US, with more than 2,200 individual DC fast chargers. Since opening its first site in May 2018, Electrify America has set a rapid pace for its network expansion, opening an average of nearly four stations per week.

Electrify America announced its “Boost Plan” to more than double its current electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in the United States and Canada, with plans to have more than 1,800 fast charging stations and 10,000 individual chargers installed by the end of 2025.

Electrify America announced an agreement with Mercedes-Benz USA to provide drivers of the all-electric EQS complimentary charging for two years at Electrify America EV charging stations. Electrify America is the first company to offer ISO standard-based Plug & Charge technology to multiple automakers in the United States.

This technology is now available on all Electrify America chargers across the US in advance of the anticipated arrival in the coming months of Plug&Charge-capable EVs, including the 2021 models of the Porsche Taycan, Ford Mustang Mach-E and Lucid Air.
