Since September 2017, a new test procedure, the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP), has to be followed for new vehicle types.

The GMR report focuses on two primary impacts: climate change and air and noise pollution. The publication covers all modes of transport, including road, air, waterborne, and rail transport.
