Your friendly neighborhood Greenius has been a proud member of the South Bay Bicycle Coalition ever since there was one, and I’ve been on the Board of Directors just as long. In fact back in 2010 that’s why the County of Los Angeles Health Department gave our South Bay Bicycle Coalition (SBBC) a $250,000 grant.

While current state and federal measures are on target to reduce toxic diesel locomotive emissions 65% or more by 2020, additional measures recommended by ARB staff would ultimately provide up to 85% or greater emissions reductions within the rail yards over the same period, resulting in cleaner air for nearby residential neighborhoods as well.

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) has placed an order for a new all-electric shuttle bus powered by Motiv Power Systems ’ All-Electric Powertrain. The first set of Motiv-powered shuttle buses were placed in operation for the City of Mountain View, California in 2015.
