2015 target: 130 g CO 2 /km. The average CO 2 emissions level of a new car sold in 2013 was 127 g CO 2 /km; the target for 2015 was 130 g/km. Thus, in 2013 the European Union fleet already collectively met its legal target for 2015. The biggest cars, measured by mass, were bought in Latvia, Sweden and Luxembourg.

Scania will leave from Södertalje, south of Stockholm, driving through Sweden, Denmark and Germany to Maasvlakte II in the Port of Rotterdam, making a stop in Zolder, Belgium and in Zwolle, Netherlands. The truck platoons will all depart from their home base or production location. Scania will send off three extra-long trucks on 29 March.

In 2019, one hundred Volvo’s in Gothenburg, Sweden, will be on the road and will self-drive with the touch of a button. This summer (2015), Google will have several of its newest self-driving cars on the streets of Mountain View, its headquarters city. Cars will drive themselves and connect with others.
