Another recall for a low-volume electric car: 2015 Kia Soul EV tall wagons--as well as a much higher number of 2014 and 2015 Soul gasoline models--are being recalled to replace fragile accelerator pedals.

All-Electric Performance AWD Luxury. I like to get drive impressions from my wife for some of the cars I review. After driving the 2023 Genesis GV60 Performance AWD for about 40 miles, she emphatically said this is the car she wants. As the luxury division of the Hyundai Group (Genesis, Hyundai and Kia) it has gone from two models in 2015 to eight in 2023. The current line-up, a combination of gasoline-powered and battery electric sedans and SUVs, will be all-electric in 2030.

Kia Motors America (KMA) introduced the 2015 Soul EV at the Chicago Auto Show. Scheduled to go on sale in the third quarter of 2014, the Soul EV will be Kia’s first battery-electric car sold in the US. Kia also highlighted its Niro hybrid concept along with the 2014 Optima hybrid at the event.
