It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. Whats more, the General promises the Volt will be the foundation for a slew of cars to be sold worldwide. So I think its a safe bet for GM.
