Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, posted the picture of a red Model Y on his Twitter along with his team, announcing the one-millionth car on March 9th, it took the company only 12 years to reach the mark since it produced its first car back in 2008. Tesla only produces electric cars. This means the company is quite ahead of its targets.

Would it be wrong if I said that the history of the automobile industry has been divided into two parts, before Tesla and after Tesla , some might argue that I understand? But there is no doubt that Tesla has divided the history of the electric vehicle into two that is, before Tesla and after Tesla.

I still believe the automobile industry is a major force for good in our country. The keystone argument in this year’s aggressive contract negotiations is that UAW members have taken hits and made financial concessions to& accommodate automakers through several economic downturns (especially in 2008).

In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. First Escape PHEV delivered to SCE Nov 2007; 20 in 2008-2009. Beginning in 2005, we excerpted individual statements of intentions by carmakers, but by the start of 2008, the number of comments became too numerous for us to track. Batteries not ready.

Posted by: CurtCurt | Apr 13, 2009 9:24:33 PM By the time they get these (or other plug-in hybrids) out into consumers hands, Tesla will be doing as well or better with pure EV tech, and by 2012 may even be making a tiny profit, instead of a huge loss, even though there production numbers are much smaller. Looks like they failed.
