We need to go back to November 2017, to the start of the ‘Prius Revolution’ in the family. I knew I wanted something for her that was cheap to maintain, had a reliable automatic transmission, came with cruise control, AC. Some models (2006 models for some reason) can have timing chain issues irrelevant of their mileage.

GM’s signature EV now is the Chevrolet Bolt EV , another new name, which arrived as a 2017 model and promptly won Motor Trend ’s Car of the Year award. Not easy or cheap, but it has worked so far. With no history to hold them back, they began developing battery-powered two-wheelers in 2006 and have never looked back.
