When I got back from Japan in 2000 I didn’t want to start a computer business. In 2000 there couldn’t have been too many old timers in the solar industry. You pay your taxes on-line. You pay your corporate taxes on-line. Why don’t you look at your bill and see the Nuclear Decommissioning taxes on your electric bill.

Lutz, who retired earlier this year, called the car Detroits "moon shot" and an attempt to wrest the mantle of innovation back from the Japanese. assuming electric cars actually have a future.

In one of those alternative realities Al Gore got elected President in 2000 and because he understood what was happening with CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions he made cutting emissions, and developing renewable and clean energy sources our country’s focus and goals.
