Another one located in Poland will create an end-to-end carbon capture and storage chain starting from CO? capture and liquefaction at a cement plant to storage in offshore sites.

Mercedes-Benz Cars plants in Germany to be supplied with CO2-neutral energy from 2022

In the future, 100% of additional purchased electricity will come from verifiable renewable sources, such as wind- and hydropower. In Jawor (Poland), a new CO 2 -neutral engine plant is being built. This corresponds to about three quarters of the required electricity in the German plants. The plant will start operating in 2019.
