BMW has recognized that they simply teed up GM and Nissan to benefit from the MINI E experience. Today they announced officially that MINI E "pioneers" will be able to extend their leases until 2011. Will MINI E drivers be so loyal to BMW they'll forgo the opportunity to actually purchase a plug-in car?

Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are on their way with new innovations seemingly announced all the time. Plug In America has created a new website dedicated to keeping track of plug-ins, whether they are hybrids or pure electric vehicles. Some of the vehicles listed are questionable.

Auto show and to tag along with the “Revenge of the Electric Car&# crew after winning an auction at the first Plug in America Fundraiser. My father and I picked up our rented Prius and drove off to our hotel. The performance was unlike anything I’d ever felt and it was hard to return to the Prius rental car.
