The market launch in Europe is scheduled for November 2017. Mercedes-Benz developed the X-Class with the changing requirements of the international pickup markets in mind. Production for the markets in Europe, Australia and South Africa will start at the Nissan plant in Barcelona, Spain, in 2017.
