Hyundai will in months offer 2 models that will leap frog toyota and honda by years - it will be based on a lithium POLYMER battery thats lighter, cheaper, and maintains charge many times longer than NiCad batteries and all at a price half that of Volt.

"The Volt is a case study. GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. Honda has probably sold more Civics in a year than the combined total of all 18 of those GM models. Think of driving any vehicle in the hot Los Angeles summer time. you see that?
