Transport for London Issues Tender for Up To 1,300 Electric Or Low-Carbon Vehicles

Transport for London (TfL) has issued a £67-million (US$100-million), four-year international tender for up to 1,300 electric or ultra-low carbon vehicles. The bulk of the purchase (70%) is anticipated to go to European Vehicle Category M1 (i.e., four-wheel light-duty vehicles), with maximum operating CO 2 emissions of 75 g/km.
