Canada Rare Earth Corporation has entered into an agreement to purchase 60% of the issued and outstanding shares of a company based in Laos. As a part of the transaction the refinery will become a core element in the Canada Rare Earth’s operations.

According to the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand, the number of companies that are part of Thailand’s electric vehicle industry has risen significantly since 2015, from 76 to 420 in 2019.
