Teslas, RAV4 EVs, Ford Rangers, Neighborhood Electric Vehicles, even EV conversions can be charged at the six-port station, in the parking lot of the new Woodland Gateway Shopping Center.

It states that “you may qualify for a tax credit up to $7,500 under IRS Code Section 30D if you buy a new, qualified plug-in EV or fuel cell electric vehicle (FCV)” anytime from 2023 to 2032. Which brings us to Tesla. Tesla’s electric vehicles are by far the most popular EVs in the country. Not anymore.

The Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) offers rebates of up to $7,500 toward the purchase or lease of eligible zero-emission vehicles, including electric, plug-in hybrid electric, and fuel cell vehicles. Today, Chevrolet has some of the best EV options on the market, with more scheduled for release in the next few years.

That’s just one reason I spent 12 hours on behalf of the South Bay Environmental Services Center talking to people at the Palos Verdes Street Fair last weekend.
