A special-purpose vehicle developer out of South Korea has introduced a new line of electric golf carts that can bring more technology and comfort to the game. Daeji Precision Company is a Korean manufacturer founded in 1975 specializing in special-purpose vehicles.

Microcars, often referred to as quadricycles in Europe and Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs) or Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs) in the US, are a niche category designed largely for urban travel. Now the pint-sized EV maker is bringing the Eli ZERO to the US, opening up $200 refundable deposits to reserve the $11,900 vehicle.

The e-Zone Electric Vehicle (EV) is a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) that passes international crash test standards and will be one of the vehicle types CT&T will produce for the US market. Vehicles will range in price from US$8,000 to $16,000 fully equipped. It has a top speed of 35 mph (56 kph).
