One thing is for sure; - electric cars bring down the air pollution, but they sure create another waste pollution problem. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. Plus you can use solar and break technology, as well as other more experimental technology, and never have to charge it because it would then charge itself. The mines in Canada where the nickel & cadmium are mined is one of the most polluted places on Earth.
