This new company, Bright Automotive , is founded by ex-GM EV1 people, and the super efficient Rocky Mountain Institute to make plug-in hybrids in Indiana. Just as important, Bright is going to try to keep the car economically priced, in part by reducing the size of the battery. Bright is based around a parallel hybrid.
