Most of the vehicles debuting at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show were powered by some sort of electricity. Not all were, of course, as there is still plenty of interest around gasoline-propelled cars, SUVs and trucks. 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 EV. liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine that now pumps-out 195 horsepower.

Case-in-point is the all-new GV60 EV, which followed its cousins, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 (2020), and the Kia EV6 ( 2021). After driving 246 miles through Southern California counties of Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego, we had 30 miles of range remaining on the dash gauge. Maintenance – Three years/36,000 miles.

I think we have 22 or 24 buses in the San Diego area, and we have another deployment underway in the Los Angeles Unified School District, where we are initially deploying 24 as well. Where we are working with school districts, we are providing them with charging stations and maintenance. Gregory Poilasne: It’s all EVs.

The fueling process is fast and easy and a FCEV operates exactly like a gasoline-powered car, but with no noise, exhaust fumes or emissions. When we took delivery of the Mirai, the dash gauge read 345 miles of estimated range, which means we could have driven from Los Angeles to the Silicon Valley and had a few miles to spare.
