Shenhua has built the world’s first million-tonne level direct coal liquefaction project in China’s Inner Mongolia, equipped with two gasifiers using Shell’s coal gasification technology to produce hydrogen from coal. A joint working team will be set up to implement the agreement. Shenhua Group is the world’s largest coal company.
