While demand growth for EVs outstrips traditional petrol and diesel vehicles, buyers still have the upper hand in an Australian used electric vehicle market dominated by Tesla. That’s the findings from the Automotive Insights Report analysing March 2024 used car sales compiled by AutoGrab and the Australian Automotive Dealer Association.

I wish the thing was for sale as-is. Reply ↓ ↑ report 8 Roger Smith 3:45PM (4/25/2009) Why do they even sell the Gas ver of the car in the states the Diesel ver just makes more sense it gets almost twice the mileage of the petrol ver. Mercedes please take note. o well I guess they think all yanks hate diesels.

Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Kallenius also believes luxury EVs will be a catalyst for greater EV adoption—eventually. Mercedes Chief Technology Officer Marcus Schäfer agrees and does not see EV/ICE price parity “with the [battery] chemistry we have today.” It would not be surprising to see it follow Mercedes’ lead.
