ElectraMeccanica Vehicles will begin customer deliveries of its single-occupant, three-wheeled, electric vehicle, the SOLO. The SOLO is a purpose-built, three-wheeled, all-electric solution for the urban environment. The company earlier introduced a new fleet and commercial version of the SOLO Cargo EV.

The Piaggio MP3 is a three wheeled maxi-scooter already being sold in the USA! Not everyone wants to get hot and sweaty to go to a restaurant, and parking is such an issue in downtown Los Angeles (and Beverly Hills) that buses are almost tolerable. America is too much into BIG. Tesla had a red carpet grand opening for its first showroom and service center in Los Angeles. An unusual entrant into the EV arena, Aptera , a three-wheeled futuristic electric car, continues to stir excitement, and would appear to be more than science fiction. Smart has begun testing a small electric fleet in England.
