The Torrance Hillside Overlay district , covers most of the historic Hollywood Riviera neighborhood where the Creative Greenius lives and I can tell you that it’s a zoning law that is pure politics. We’ve now got some Mo going with: California solar loan financing that will eliminate the big up front cost of solar. SOLAR FINANCING – WHO GETS IT AND WHO DOESN’T. SOLAR FINANCING – WHO GETS IT AND WHO DOESN’T. The loans are financed through the sale of assessment district bonds.

My new solar system only needs to be 2 kilowatts now instead of 4 – which is good because solar’s still too damn expensive and the process for putting AB 811 financing in place is taking too damn long, (and that’s another Greenius post that I’m still working on).

I especially enjoyed writing Lillian Light’s remarks for the Audubon award she presented to my friend Dency Nelson last Saturday at Madronna Marsh. I really dug the SEALab event on April 25 because our booth was right next to the South High Environmental Club booth which was staffed all day by some very cool high school kids.
