Volkswagen is presenting all three Passats under a new umbrella brand: BlueMotionTechnologies. 100km (26 mpg US) for the full-size SUV—about a 25% improvement in city driving over a conventional gasoline SUV of the same size. The driver can convert this directly into improved fuel economy by adopting an anticipatory driving style.
